the european union defines a new area of common sense. how does each country define its new identity now, both in the sense of the cross border amalgam of social, political and economic interests and of its own cultural heritage and background?

we believe that the fusion of multicultural regions across europe can be achieved by preserving each country's identity. knowing who you are is the starting point of any future discussion and common developments in social, human relationships as well as in economic reflections.

in our project the "garden of the two banks" we articulate each country's uniqueness in order to create a common field of interaction across the river, a new point of interest on the map of europe. the topic is the interface between two regions. the mutual interest is the impulse to cross borders physically as well as mentally, to gather at this place and mingle with other visitors.
